Two days on residents of dozen localities reel under water shortage

AGRA: For the last two days, residents of a dozen localities, comprising almost one-fourth of the city, are facing shortage of water supply. More than a dozen leaks have developed in household pipelines, also resulting in inadequate water supply.Shahganj locality resident Ravi Verma said, “We have not been getting adequate water supply for the past few days. Water tankers have not been supplied to the residential areas.”According to Jal Sansthan officials, the water level in river Yamuna has dipped to a minimum of 480 feet at Jeevani Mandi water works station. We had raised the matter with Jal Sansthan officials. The water treatment infrastructure Jeevani Mandi station is under repairing.
