Agra: On Wednesday, the SN Medical College`s Ethical Committee gave permission for the human trial of the indigenous vaccine of Corona. Starting on August 15, this trial will also be done with double blind technology. Vaccine trials at SN Medical College will be conducted on 400 healthy people between the ages of 18 and 50 years. Volunteers involved in the trial will have their second dose 14 days after the first dose of the vaccine. In the double blind technology, some people involved in the trial will be given a dose of placebo (no vaccine will be applied) instead of the vaccine.

After applying two doses of the vaccine, a side effect, an allergic reaction will be seen. What amount of corona antibodies are formed and for how long? Record of this will be kept. The regular checkup and test records of the people involved in the trial will be sent to the ICMR, after the first dose of the vaccine will be tested for 14 days. After this, a cavid test will be done. A second dose will be given when a negative report arrives. There will be a Kovid test again after 14 days. Antibodies will be screened. The corona virus has three types of proteins. The `M` protein reaches inside the body. This virus dies when antibodies develop.

Inactive viruses have been used in Corona`s homegrown vaccine. There is no risk of becoming corona infected after applying the vaccine. Those who will be tried will remain at their home. Those wishing to be part of the vaccine`s human trial can contact the SN`s Department of Medicine and the principal`s office.

Human trials of the vaccine in SN may begin on August 15, with the college`s Ethical Committee allowing the trial on Wednesday. Documentation of the method of testing will be prepared. Legal advice will also be taken. The task of preparation of the test and the study of the protocol has been entrusted to Dr. CP Pal, Head of the Department of Orthopedics.
