Agra: Shri Paras Hospital in Tajnagri was finally sealed. Along with this, the license of the hospital has also been canceled. Taking major action on Wednesday, the Health Department sealed the entire hospital. Now with the license of the hospital being canceled, further investigation will continue. Along with sealing the hospital, 55 patients present there have been shifted to another hospital.

At the same time, there is anger among the people about not arresting the operating doctor of the hospital. It is worth noting that a video of Paras Hospital has gone viral, in which a mock drill was done in the hospital during the oxygen crisis, during which the oxygen supply was stopped for 5 minutes. Due to this, the death of 22 serious patients is coming to the fore.

After this, on Tuesday, the Agra District Magistrate had also issued orders to seal the hospital and instructions were given to register a case against the hospital operator under the Epidemic Act. Principal Secretary Home had also ordered to register a case against the hospital owner in the matter.

After sealing the hospital, the Additional CMO of Agra said that the license of the hospital has been revoked. A committee has been formed to investigate. He said that further action is being taken by sealing the hospital. The video which has gone viral is in reference to the oxygen crisis that surfaced on 26/27 April. Government records have recorded the death of four corona patients in Sri Paras Hospital on 26 April.

Earlier, DM Prabhu Narayan Singh had said that there was a shortage of oxygen on 26 and 27 April. But the whole night the administration team along with the health department kept delivering oxygen to the hospitals. He had said that on April 26, 97 patients of corona were admitted to Shri Paras Hospital, out of which four had died. In the matter, Yogi government`s spokesperson and cabinet minister Siddharth Nath Singh had spoken of action, describing the matter as a heinous crime.
