22-year-old Agra tea seller becomes CA

"Manoj Kumar Aggarwal had scored 77 % in his intermediate and was among five percent candidates across the country who had cleared one of the toughest exams. "According to the 22-year-old, the key to success was working hard in all circumstances and managing the time between his job and studies. He never saw the school and had to work in his in-law's hotel to run the family, which inspired me to aspire for a better life by becoming CA. Inspired from his elder brother, now my younger son, Rahul too is pursuing his career in the same field.

Agra: With a spirit to never give up against all the odd and firmly moving ahead to achieve the set goal in all circumstances, a boy who sells tea along with his father near NH-2 in Agra has become Chartered Accountant.Manoj Kumar Aggarwal, who is the most literate among all his six siblings and his family has become the center of attention among peers and neighbors after he cleared exam for becoming Chartered Accountant.Talking to TOI, Aggarwal said, "I wouldn't have achieved or become CA if my father not had supported in my endeavor. He never saw the school and had to work in his in-law's hotel to run the family, which inspired me to aspire for a better life by becoming CA."According to the 22-year-old, the key to success was working hard in all circumstances and managing the time between his job and studies. "I did took coaching class but studied 6-7 hours a day and spent only two hours at the tea stall," he added.He said, "After completing by intermediate from commerce stream, my teacher I C Sharma, asked me to pursue a career in chartered accountancy. Now I want to go New Delhi and explore my opportunities in MNCs, so as to provide a better standard of life to my family."Proud of his son achievement, Vishnu Kumar Aggarwal said, "At least from now on, my son won't had to sell tea along with me. We are happy for his achievement as it was a distant dream. This year nearly 10 lakh candidates appeared for CA.
