AGRA: Newly appointed divisional commissioner of Agra, senior IAS officer K Rammohan Rao on Saturday said the administration would work towards making Agra, a tourist city, encroachment free . He said drives would be conducted to make Agra more tourism friendly and changing the image of the city."The major issues like road repairing, parking and encroachment will be taken on priority basis. We will also try to complete the tourism related projects on time," Rao told media during a press conference."There is a new government in the state and officials will have to change their working style accordingly. They have been directed to keep a diary mentioning works being done by them on daily basis. A visible change will be seen in coming days," he added.The divisional commissioner said photography of works being carried out by civic bodies will be done to keep a tab on their quality. "I will also conduct spot inspections of projects to ensure they are being carried out properly."
