Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani on Wednesday launched “CM Dashboard” in Gandhinagar to keep close tabs on development projects of the State government at district level. In the threelayer system, the first warning/corrective suggestion will be given by CMO officials followed by higher officials. However, if the problem persists than the CM will personally call up the official, take stock of the situation and give directions for early resolution. This, according to Rupani, will also bolster ease of doing business in Gujarat.Giving an example, officials said if GSRTC buses are running late than the dashboard will give real time alerts about the cause. However, the dashboard project will be completely ready and functional by August,” said Rupani, adding “The system will be operational round the clock and will give real time updates.”Through the dashboard, officials in the CMO will be able to track developments in each department, at micro level.
