Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leader Hardik Patel has been feeling lonely, especially after he had slammed his former colleagues and they parted ways with him. Patel has now started approaching old friends and colleagues who acted as his shadow when agitation was on peak and worked together rubbing shoulder to shoulder. Hardik, who turned 25 on Friday, stayed away from any celebrations. The Patel quota stir leader had alleged that a dozen of his former colleagues took crores of bribes from BJP men. Some of these leaders resolved to not to look back at Hardik Patel ever in future and decided to work for their community without any banner. "Hardik has changed and I think his agenda have changed too. He tried to approach me after he made allegations, but I refused after he maligned my image before my community," said one of the former colleagues of Hardik Patel on condition of anonymity. "He has been seeking the support of former colleagues as he did not get any response from people in his recent programmes. He decided to hold a rally in Ahmedabad on August 25 to repeat the history and that is why he needs our help as he cannot do it alone. He has turned 25 today and, now, wishes to contest polls. But, in order to do that, he needs a good launchpad with our support," he added. However, one Dinesh Bambhania, who had warned Hardik to face defamation, has come close to the PAAS leader again and made his efforts successful. Another leader from SPG Dr Nachiket Patel (Mukhi) also wished him through social media. "It is true that I and Hardik hardly shared the same platform for any programme. But now it is need of the hour that we should unite. I and many other quota agitation workers would support him for Ahmedabad rally," Mukhi said. Hardik Patel, however, could not be reached for his reaction.
