Gujarat: 73 seats remain vacant after round 3 in ME course

While the Textile Engineering course at LD Engineering College had 11 vacant seats, Man Made Textile course at MS University, Vadodara, had 12 seats vacant, Textile Chemical Processing course had 14 seats vacant, and Textile Engineering at MS University had 7 seats vacant. Textile Engineering in LD college back then had seven vacant seats, Thermal Engineering, Software Engineering, and Information Technology courses had 12, 13, and 17 vacant seats, respectively. Only 73 seats remain vacant in Masters in Engineering courses in the state right now. The Department of Computer Science at Gujarat University had 18 seats vacant in the Web Technology course. Mobile Communication and Network Technology course at Gujarat Technological University had 14 seats vacant.

Only 73 seats remain vacant in Masters in Engineering courses in the state right now. As per information shared by the Admissions Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), out of a total of 1,155 seats, 1,082 seats were allotted, leaving only 73 vacant. Courses in which there was vacancy were mostly related to textiles. While the Textile Engineering course at LD Engineering College had 11 vacant seats, Man Made Textile course at MS University, Vadodara, had 12 seats vacant, Textile Chemical Processing course had 14 seats vacant, and Textile Engineering at MS University had 7 seats vacant. Mobile Communication and Network Technology course at Gujarat Technological University had 14 seats vacant. Even after the second round, 50 per cent seats were vacant. Out of a total of 5,181 seats in round two, 2,527 seats remained vacant. Then too, niche courses had fewer takers among students. Textile Engineering in LD college back then had seven vacant seats, Thermal Engineering, Software Engineering, and Information Technology courses had 12, 13, and 17 vacant seats, respectively. The Department of Computer Science at Gujarat University had 18 seats vacant in the Web Technology course. A total of 27 seats out of the 125 allotted remained vacant in Masters in Pharmacy.
