Fast over, but PAAS petition to continue

BM Mangukiya, lawyer for PAAS said that the petition about police high handedness will continue. Hardik may have given up his fast, but the petition by Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti in high court regarding the alleged high handedness of the police including preventing people and material from entering his presence will continue. So the the petition will continue as some questions need to be addressed,"said Mangukiya. "We want to ensure that the police does not once again indulge in such high handedness and deny user permissions. The matter came up for hearing on Wednesday but the government which was supposed to file its reply did not do so.
