With stronger effort Gujarat government vows to end malnutrition in six months

In a bid to end malnutrition, the state government has decided to focus and eradicate malnutrition in two talukas of all districts in Gujarat districts.
We are targeting that within six months, two talukas in each of the districts would be 100% free from malnutrition and anaemia,” Singh added.
The chief secretary in Gujarat government Dr JN Singh had convened the special meeting on subject on Saturday at his office.
Despite of check system, some lapses were there in implementation chain so all the districts would follow this monitoring system,” Dr Singh further added.
The state government is going to make video recording and photograph the process of distribution of food materials under nutrition programme.
