State BJP president Jitu Vaghani said that his party would win all 26 Lok Sabha seats in the state as people wanted Narendra Modi to become the prime minister again, and also accused Congress of running a negative campaign. "The Congress is not going to defeat BJP on any of the 26 seats in Gujarat. The people are going to reject the Congress's negative campaigning," Vaghani told reporters at the state BJP headquarters on eve of voting. Vaghani said that compared to BJP's election campaign, which saw Modi, party president Amit Shah, chief minister Vijay Rupani, and other senior leaders seeking people's support, the Congress could not even names its candidates on time, and its election bid was plagued with problems. "The Congress's situation is akin to a marriage procession without a groom," he said, mocking the party. The BJP leader claimed that party workers were enthused as party chief Amit Shah was contesting from Gandhinagar. "Amit bhai himself contesting from Gandhinagar, and campaigning like any other candidate, has charged up the BJP cadres. They are full of new enthusiasm and are working to ensure party's victory in all 26 seats," he claimed. Vaghani also claimed that the BJP president's rallies in tribal areas of Dharampur and Chhota Udepur had received unprecedented response, while Congress's leadership's campaign was rejected. The BJP leader appealed voters to come out in record numbers and exercise their right to vote. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani also appealed voters to ensure a high turnout. AMIT SHAH’S LEADERSHIP
