Ahmedabad cops nab man over hoax call of ISIS attack

A mentally ill man was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly made a hoax call claiming that an ISIS agent is analysing the route of Rath Yatra and will be attacking in three days. The Ahmedabad police team were put on high alert after they received the call of a possible terror attack. During the investigation, cops arrested the caller identified as Mohammad Uvesh Saiyad, a resident of Karanj from his home on Tuesday. The accused had stated that an ISIS agent is standing near Lal Darwaja and he had recently visited Pakistan. During the interrogation, it was revealed that Saiyad was having some mental illness and he had called the police control from his home number.
