A complaint was lodged with the Sola High Court Police station on Tuesday after a man sends nude pictures of his wife to his brother-in-law and threatened to make it viral. According to police, the accused on April 13, 2019, sent several nude photos of the victim to her brother, who is a doctor by profession and threatened to ruin her image by making it viral on social media. Similar photos were also sent to the victim's father as well. It didn't stop there, on July 7, 2019, the accused again messaged the victim's brother abusing and threatening him to make the pictures viral. Reacting to this harassment, an application was given to the city police commissioner by the victim's brother and later a complaint was lodged with Sola High Court Police station. As per the police officials, the victim got married to the accused last year. Soon after they got married, the victim came to know about her husband's extramarital affair and when she tried to put the matter in front of her in-laws, however, they took their son's side and started harassing her instead. The victim was mentally and physically harassed by her in-laws and husband, unable to bear the stress, she left husband's house and started living with her parents and brother. Meanwhile, the victim also filed a complaint against her husband with the Mahila police station of Gandhinagar regarding his extramarital affair. Inspector of Sola High Court police station, DH Ghadvi, said, "We have registered the complaint and have started the investigation to nab the accused." The inspector further added primary investigation revealed that the accused is trying to take revenge from the victim. "After the case was lodged, we have sent a team to Gandhinagar in search of the accused. Once he comes into custody, more information will be revealed," said Inspector Ghadvi.
