Rain in 43 talukas, 3.2 inches in 2 hours in Umarpada of Surat, 2.8 inches in Keshod of Junagadh

The state has received heavy to very heavy rainfall forecast by the meteorological department. The state has been receiving torrential rains since early morning on Friday amid heavy rains forecast. 

The state has received heavy to very heavy rainfall forecast by the meteorological department. The state has been receiving torrential rains since early morning on Friday amid heavy rains forecast. 

Rain has been recorded in 43 talukas of the state from 6 am to 8 am. Out of which 8 talukas have received rainfall from 1 inch to 3.2 inches. The highest rainfall of 3.2 inches has been recorded in Umarpada of Surat. 

Rainfall has been recorded in 222 talukas of the state in the last 24 hours. Out of which 20 talukas received 3 inches or more, 24 talukas received 2 to 3 inches and 46 talukas received 1 to 2 inches of rain. The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was 5.5 inches in Junagadh.
