As looking at covid-19 situation, Gujarat government had taken a decision not to reopen secondary & higher secondary schools from September 21, said by Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama.

As looking at covid-19 situation, Gujarat government had taken a decision not to reopen secondary & higher secondary schools from September 21, said by Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama.

The state government take the decision as per in the interest of students during a cabinet meeting conducted by CM Vijay Rupani in Gandhinagar.

Unlock-4 announced this month, Centre said that the final decision to reopen the schools from September 21 for classes 9 to 12 will be taken by respective states. As per the centre SOP students can visit school to take guidance from teacher with their parents’ permission from September 21. Online education continuing as prior.

The Centre had clarified that it`s not compulsory for states to implement these SOPs from September 21. There is a risk of transmission of the virus if students gather at one place. It is not advisable for students to visit schools in the present situation, minister said.
