Walk-in Vaccine without registration available for 18-44 years old in Gujarat from June 21

Gujarat medical authorities and health officials are on their toes to get the majority of the population vaccinated. In this regard, the Gujarat government on Friday (June 18) announced its intent to kickoff a walk-in vaccination for the age group of 18-44 years across the state from June 21 (Monday).

Over the last one month, States have successfully managed to curb the flow of the deadly Covid-19 virus as the threat from the second wave of the pandemic has died down considerably. But the threat of possible third wave is making the state government take conscious steps to safeguard the population.

Gujarat medical authorities and health officials are on their toes to get the majority of the population vaccinated. In this regard, the Gujarat government on Friday (June 18) announced its intent to kickoff a walk-in vaccination for the age group of 18-44 years across the state from June 21 (Monday).

This, however, marks a change from the earlier online registration system which will also remain in place. For the unversed, the walk-in vaccinations will be conducted every day after 3 pm in the state, a government statement informed. However, beneficiaries who have been given appointments through online registration will still be given top priority and preference.

Speaking about numbers, about 2.15 crore people have already received either one or both the dose of the Covid vaccines in Gujarat.
