Satellite phone signals indicate Pakistan call from Bhuj

AHMEDABAD: Satellite phone signals traced to the Bhudar police station area near Bhuj in Kutch suggest that a call was made to Pakistan a couple days ago, police said. "If someone is using a satellite phone on a flight, signals are traced to the ground," said a senior intelligence official. In fact, if someone uses a satellite phone even on a ship, signals are caught on the ground." He said that since a call was made to Pakistan, an investigation was being carried out. Sources in security agencies said that although an investigation is under way, they have learnt that the Bhudar police station lies below an international flight route.
