JAIPUR: After the city police arrested a carjacker who had stolen over 100 cars in 16 months, the police said that the accused had been learning to hack into the security systems of cars by watching online videos.The accused Ramesh alias Rahul Meena was arrested on Wednesday by Shipra Path police station. The accused admitted to having stolen over 100 vehicles in the past 16 months, including 60 cars from different parts of New Delhi and 40 from Jaipur.One of his aides is currently on the run. The cops also seized several electronic items like chips etc.ACP (Mansarovar) Deepak Kumar Sharma said that during the interrogation, the accused said that his accomplice had told him to buy these gadgets to break into the electronic locking systems of cars.“Meena said that he is uneducated and could not understand such sophisticated technology.
