7,000 candidates yet to get offer letter, protest

AJMER: About 7,000 candidates who had cleared examination of senior teachers in schools from Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) in 2016 are waiting for their appointments since last one year. They also threatened that on the arrival of the Prime Minister in Jaipur, they will gather there and stage a protest. They also decided to stage their protest on the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 7.There were boys and also girls who cleared RPSC exam of senior teachers in different subjects gathered in front of RPSC and sat on indefinite dharna.

AJMER: About 7,000 candidates who had cleared examination of senior teachers in schools from Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) in 2016 are waiting for their appointments since last one year. These candidates have now started their protest in front of RPSC On Thursday more than one dozen candidates shaved their heads in protest and threatened hunger strike. They also decided to stage their protest on the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 7.There were boys and also girls who cleared RPSC exam of senior teachers in different subjects gathered in front of RPSC and sat on indefinite dharna. Candidates stated that they cleared the RPSC examination and have been sitting in hopes of getting an appointment letter but they have no hope now.RPSC conducted examination for more than nine thousand posts of different subjects and sent the list of successful candidates to state government and state government also released appointment letters to about two and a half thousand candidates who joined their places.During the process, unsuccessful candidates went to high court showing the irregularities in question papers and also in marking and therefore court stayed the process.According to RPSC officials, their work was completed and they had sent the list of successful candidates to state government. There is no delay from their side. But candidates reacted that because of RPSC the matter went to court and seven thousand candidates are paying for the deeds of RPSC.Candidates said that because of this they are unable to prepare for other examination as well as sitting idly and do not know their fate. On Thursday candidates in protest shaved their heads and said that their protest will continue till they do not get justice. They also threatened that on the arrival of the Prime Minister in Jaipur, they will gather there and stage a protest.
