AJMER: Newly appointed BJP state president Madan Lal Saini said that the upcoming state assembly elections will be contested under the leadership of chief minister Vasundhara Raje . He said that the people were happy with central and state governments and therefore will repeat BJP in state assembly as well as give all 25 seats to the party in next Lok Sabha elections.Saini made these claims on a recent visit to Ajmer where he was welcomed by his Mali community in large numbers. Talking to media, Saini said, “I will go to my hometown Sikar only after reelecting BJP in the state and winning all 25 seats for the party in the coming Lok Sabha polls.”BJP won all 25 Lok Sabha seats in the 2014 elections but lost the two seats of Ajmer and Alwar in by-elections held earlier this year.Saini was confident that the people of Rajasthan have clearly shown that they want Raje back in power and also indicated that his team workers are working towards a bigger mandate.Elaborating on the ticket distribution, Saini said, “The candidates for the upcoming state assembly elections will be decided by parliamentary board of BJP but certainly tickets will be given to candidates with good personality. As a party, we will also keep in mind the importance of youth while distributing tickets.”On the question of survey of RSS that indicated that BJP is trailing in Rajasthan, he said people want the current chief minister back for another term and her leardership is widely appreciated.
