Quality education vital for students: Irani

Ajmer: Union minister for textile Smriti Irani said that students are the future of India and therefore quality education is important for them. State education and Panchayati raj minister Devnani while addressing the program said that Rajasthan is having a unique place in education sector throughout India. She also praised the education policy adopted by Rajasthan government and said that by such policies students will understand the society and country and will take their responsibility in development. Irani was in Ajmer on Thursday to distribute medals and certificates to four thousand meritorious students of 86 schools who got more than 80 percent marks. The program that was organized in Government Jamia Islamia School here had students of schools situated only in Ajmer north state assembly constituency from where state education minister Vasudev Devnani comes fromShe said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi faced poverty in his childhood and therefore he knows the importance of quality education.

Irani also brief about the policies of Prime Minister Modi and said that Modi first understood the common people of India and their problems and on that basis he made policies like Ujawala Yojana, digital India, Mudra Yojana, Swachh Bharat and such policies empowered common man on grassroots level. She also praised the education policy adopted by Rajasthan government and said that by such policies students will understand the society and country and will take their responsibility in development.
