JAIPUR/BUNDI: BJP president Amit Shah has put an end to the controversy over the Sawai Madhopur MLA Diya Kumari not getting a ticket to contest assembly polls.While addressing a rally in Sawai Madhopur on Monday, Shah said, “Diya Kumari was approached twice for a seat from Sawai Madhopur assembly segment. Rajya Sabha MP Bhupendra Yadav called him once, but she expressed her desire to serve the people by supporting the BJP candidate. Holding Congress responsible for creating turmoil over NRC, Shah asked crowd to vote for BJP to ensure safety and security in the country. “You (Rahul) have worn an Italian spec which doesn’t allow you to see the sacrifices of the soldiers, pain and plight of their families,” said Shah. “They are eating national resources of the country and are concern for security,” Shah said in Bundi.Shah continued to attack over surgical strike at both his rallies.

This gesture shows selfless nature of BJP leaders.”Shah has to take a pause for some seconds as crowd applauded and raised slogans for Kumari the moment he read out her name among those present on the stage. Sensing her popularity, Shah gave a clarification, which received a rousing response from the crowd.Shah during his speech at both the rallies continued his attack on Congress over National Register of Citizens, surgical strikes and accusing the Congress of doing nothing in the last 70 years. Holding Congress responsible for creating turmoil over NRC, Shah asked crowd to vote for BJP to ensure safety and security in the country. His assurance to voters that BJP government will identify every intruder from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and pulled them out of the country received thunderous applause from the crowd.Accusing Congress president Rahul Gandhi of growing restless for the identification of 40 lakh intruders in Assam at his Bundi rally, Shah said, “Are intruders your (Rahul) cousin that’s why you are worrying and making statements like where they would go, what they would eat…?’ said Shah.He minced no words and compared intruders with termites. “They are eating national resources of the country and are concern for security,” Shah said in Bundi.Shah continued to attack over surgical strike at both his rallies. He accused Rahul Gandhi of mocking the strike and the martyrdom of soldiers. “You (Rahul) have worn an Italian spec which doesn’t allow you to see the sacrifices of the soldiers, pain and plight of their families,” said Shah.
