Rahul Gandhi to address Seva Dal workers in Ajmer today

AJMER: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday will address thousands of Seva Dal workers at Kayar Vishram Sthali. Now people have started showing faith in Congress,” added Pilot.Meanwhile, different sessions were held for members of Seva Dal and the programme started with Dhwaj Naman (flag hoisting). But sources said the number of members attending the programme was very less compared to the number claimed. Pilot added that in the last two months, works have been done for the common man, farmers, youth and also for women, “The next challenge is to win the Lok Sabha elections and Seva Dal wing will certainly be helpful to Congress. They also spoke with the members coming to attend the seminar and went to see the exhibition on the history of Seva Dal.While talking to media, Pilot said in last three decades, Seva Dal, a wing of Congress emerged as a strong grassroots team.

The two-day seminar started on Wednesday.CM Ashok Gehlot and deputy CM Sachin Pilot on Wednesday came to see the preparations in the evening and directed for better arrangements. They also spoke with the members coming to attend the seminar and went to see the exhibition on the history of Seva Dal.While talking to media, Pilot said in last three decades, Seva Dal, a wing of Congress emerged as a strong grassroots team. Pilot added that in the last two months, works have been done for the common man, farmers, youth and also for women, “The next challenge is to win the Lok Sabha elections and Seva Dal wing will certainly be helpful to Congress. Now people have started showing faith in Congress,” added Pilot.Meanwhile, different sessions were held for members of Seva Dal and the programme started with Dhwaj Naman (flag hoisting). But sources said the number of members attending the programme was very less compared to the number claimed. There were hardly 10,000 members as opposed to the claimed number of 50,000.Sources say the programme aims to prepare teams of workers for Lok Sabha elections, to beat the RSS machinery of BJP.
