Another Pratapgarph family gets ready to pedal to bride’s home

""After baratis pedalled to reach the bride’s home in Poore Kharag Rai village, at least three families have contacted me and agreed to take the baraat on bicycles," he added.The volunteers of Paryavaran sena would also be gifting plant saplings to the baratis at the venue. "Tiwari’s family would be second family in Pratapgarh district to ride bicycles from the janvasa to the bride’s home for a wedding on Friday.Environmental activist Ajay Krantikari, who convinced the bride and the groom’s families, said, "The baratis would reach the janvasa (a spot where the groom’s side stops over for refreshments for a while before proceeding to the wedding venue) from Daanpur and then pedal their way to Rattipur to the bride’s home. Pradeep’s father Ved Prakash Tiwari said, “We have decided to reach the venue on bicycles for my son’s wedding on April 27.”Pradeep, a resident of Daanpur, is getting married to a Mudita, a resident of Rattipur on April 27.Tiwari said, "Around 100 baratis have agreed to ride a bicycle on the four-km stretch, from Daanpur to Rattipur, to reach the bride’s home.
