The CM later left for Varanasi. From Rambagh, he went to Buxi Bund, Sangam and Bade Hanuman temple.Yogi also went to Baghambari Gaddi and after having lunch with saints, left for Circuit House to attend the meeting with members of Akhara Parishad and district administration. Before the review meeting, Yogi inspected various civil projects being undertaken in view of Kumbh.Yogi’s chopper landed at Police Lines from where he went to inspect the civil works being carried out at the railway over-bridge at Pani-ki-Tanki near Allahabad high court.Work on this over-bridge started in September and the authorities are hoping to complete it by October with around 60% of the work being already completed. ALLAHABAD: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday announced final dates of the three ‘shahi snan’ of Kumbh 2019 after holding consultations with Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, the apex body of country’s 13 ‘akharas’ (monastic orders).The first ‘shahi snan’ for the akharas would be on January 15 (Makar Sankranti), the second on February 4 (Mauni Amavasya) and the third on February 10 (Basant Panchami).This is for the first time that a chief minister has played a role in deciding and announcing the dates for this all-important event of Kumbh.Announcement of the dates bears significance as rest of the preparations by the Mela Pradhikaran (mela authority) or the district administration, railways, roadways, various departments and agencies depend on them.After the three ‘shahi snans’, all the akharas leave Mela area while the pilgrims stay back.In a meeting held at Circuit House, Yogi stressed, “Everyone should contribute to make the mega religious event a memorable one, not only for the country but for the entire world.”He also inquired about the status of ongoing projects and instructed the authorities to stick to the time frame.
