The remaining children belong to the age group of four to 17 years.”“Once the data is uploaded, the police stations would be able to get the required information and can further initiate steps to recover the missing child.” ALLAHABAD: Allahabad police launched a web portal to track the status of 145 missing children and help them reunite with their parents on Tuesday.The portal was launched as part of the department’s new campaign ‘Operation Muskan’, which was kicked off on Tuesday and continue till August 18.The details of the missing children would be compiled after collecting inputs from shelter homes, parents’ and other stakeholders.SP (crime) Manoj Awasthi said, “Police would be using the portal to locate the missing children and for that a two-month special campaign has been launched.”“Police have been updating the status of 145 missing children of different ages categories including three children under five years of age.
