ALLAHABAD: Former Allahabad University Student Union (AUSU) president and Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Richa Singh on Sunday condemned security personnel for ill-treating and assaulting three party workers, including two women, who they were protesting against the visit of BJP party chief Amit Shah in city on Friday.The Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha activists had waved black flags at BJP party chief Amit Shah during his visit to the city and were later taken into custody by the police.Singh claimed that commandos on duty not only ill-treated the women party workers Neha Yadav and Rama Yadav, but also caned them when they were protesting in a democratic manner.She said the way security personal caught the hair of women party workers and dragged them towards a police vehicle was shameful.
