KVS to make social media debut on September 5

KVs have also been asked to upload short videos (5-10 minutes) of important events, dignitaries visiting the school, or media coverage. For this purpose, additional commissioner (academics) KVS, UN Khaware has issued a letter asking schools to upload pictures of activities on their respective campuses. There is a also list of Dos and Don’t that have come along with the letter, issued from KVS headquarters on August 28. ALLAHABAD: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), which operates over 1,100 schools in the country and has presence in Moscow, Kathmandu and Tehran , is all set to join social media on September 5, Teacher’s Day.With an aim to highlight various achievements of the Sangathan at various levels, infrastructure facilities, activities, welfare measures and other information, KVS would set up official accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. While the Facebook page username will be ‘@KYSHQ’, the Twitter handle will be ‘@KYS_HQ’ and the Youtube channel ‘KVS HQ’.All Regional heads have been requested to share information and photographs related with various achievements, important activities with the headquarters on a dedicated email id (social.kvs@gmail.com) from time to time.
