ALLAHABAD: At a time when various walls, crossings and buildings of the city are being given a new look under the ongoing project of ‘paint my city’, the trans-Yamuna area of Naini is not lagging behind. Filled with vibrant colours, the places of worship shows every minute details including windows, doors, domes, flags etc. Apart from various walls and buildings of the area, the long walls of Naini central jail and the shabby-looking main building of Naini station is now wearing a new eye-catching look.Among these, the long span of outer wall of the Naini Central Jail (station road) is attracting the attention of every passerby. We have provided other sites also to them including both the fronts of Allahabad junction.Apart from this, the walls of Leprosy Mission at Naini have also been given a new look with street art The district administration has informed that strict action would be taken against those who would be found damaging these paintings in the city. The entire painting has the blue sky at its background.Likewise, various administrative buildings at Naini station have also been given a fillip, courtesy the authorities of North Central Railways (NCR).“The Prayagraj Mela Pradhikaran had asked us to provide our sites and buildings to be painted under the campaign of paint my city and Naini station is one such site,” said chief public relation officer of NCR, GK Bansal.
