ALLAHABAD: Actor and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Shatrughan Sinha took a dig at his own party, saying "Those people who'd promised the country to build a Ram temple are answerable to the public".Singh was speaking to reporters while he was on his way to attend the Kisan Mahar rally organised by Apna Dal (Krishna Patel) faction in Chitrakoot on Wednesday."The party is answerable to people on the Ram temple issue. Those who had promised a temple to the country, should now face the public," he added. Singh said that he was trying to show a mirror to BJP because he was first a citizen of the country and then a party worker. "I raise my voice for the people and to speak the truth. If that means rebellion, then I am a rebel," he added.The BJP MP added that he has not been demanding a position for himself in the party and his mission is to fight for the rights of the voters. "The truth is that neither is the party in a position to expel me nor can I leave the party," he added.
