PM Narendra Modi takes a dip, attends aarti at Kumbh

"Modi said that over 22 crore devotees have already visited Kumbh, which has become a combination of 'aastha' (devotion) and technology. He also participated in other rituals.Modi said, "While visiting Prayagraj in December, I got an opportunity to visit Akshayvat and now got a chance to take holy dip in the Sangam. "This Kumbh will also be remembered as digital Kumbh," he said. ALLAHABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday took holy dip at the Sangam and offered obeisance to 'Ma' Ganga.After taking the dip, Modi dressed in an orange 'kurta' and wrapped in a saffron shawl, participated in Ganga and Triveni 'pujan' and 'aarti', performed by a group of priests on the banks of the Sangam amidst chanting of 'mantras' and 'shlokas'. From the helipad, Modi went directly to the Sangam.
