Allahabad: The Uttar Pradesh police is mulling on starting Suraksha Samachar--anchor-based news bulletin--on digital platform across the state to alert people about any kind of chaotic situation before hand and inform locals about everyday activities which are left by the mainstream news channels.The move came after the overwhelming response of the successful implementation of the first-of-its-kind attempt by the Kumbh Mela police during the 49-day long mega religious event.Kumbh Mela police with the help of students of Allahabad University and SHUATS had prepared anchor-based news bulletins, a first of its kind by any government organisation.
