Over 11% students skipped Board exam

As many as 403 examinees were caught cheating and FIRs were lodged against 68 invigilators, centre superintendents among others were caught abetting cheating from across the state during the same period.Nearly 6,52,881 of the total 58,06,922 registered in high school and intermediate left the exams. The figure is around 5 lakh less than that of the 2018 when 11.1 lakh examinees were registered as absent.Officials said maximum number of dropouts were from high school.
