People from across the country are taking a dip in Sangam irrespective of their castes and other differences.” Nadda also shared a picture of his visit on Twitter.The ministers left the Mela area without visiting the Akshayvat as it was shut because of the Mahashivratri snan.
Allahabad: Union ministers JP Nadda, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti and Maharashtra chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were among the hundreds of devotees who took a dip in Sangam on Monday, the last snan of the Kumbh Mela.They were accompanied by deputy chief ministers of Bihar and Tripura—Sushil Modi and Jishnu Deb Barman respectively.After taking the holy dip, Fadnavis posted pictures of his visit on Twitter.
The tweet read: ‘Glimpses from the divine experience at @PrayagrajKumbh this morning on the auspicious occasion of #Mahashivratri !’Talking to media persons in the city on Monday in Allahabad, Fadnavis said, “Ganga was at its cleanest and pollution-free during the Kumbh Mela, which is a big achievement for the state government.
