In a first, SP-BSP to share office, flags & vehicles

We have been entrusted to put the words in reality and so we will be sharing same office, vehicle and flags and other processions.”SP spokesperson Daan Bahadur Singh Madhur claimed, “The move has been taken to dispel the propaganda initiated by BJP among masses in rural areas. Such meets are being organised in every parliamentary constituencies across the state to let leaders and workers from both the parties mingle with each other and devise strategies to counter BJP.“The alliance will open only one office in each assembly segment of the parliamentary constituency wherein daily meetings of SP-BSP leaders and workers will be held. The meetings started in every parliamentary constituency helped leaders from both the parties to identify and exchange ideas.”Apart from serving the political agenda, the sharing is expected to cut electioneering cost of both the parties, said an office-bearer of SP.BSP had supported SP in Phulpur and Gorakhpur LS by-polls against BJP in 2018. Allahabad: In an unprecedented move, alliance partners BSP and SP will share office in each assembly segment, take out joint processions and flags of both parties will be placed on workers’ houses during campaigning for the general elections.Office-bearers from both the parties said that “the move comes after the alliance scripted success in Gorakhpur and Phulpur parliamentary by-polls with SP candidates registering wins in both the constituencies”.It will also counter the propaganda of opposition parties about differences among the lower ranks of the partners, they added.A decision to this effect was taken by the leaders from both Phulpur and Allahabad parliamentary constituencies in an informal meet held here on Monday night.
