Robbers throw chilli powder in man’s eyes, flee with Rs 9.5L

In the first case, Rs 7 lakh was looted from a parked scooter at a petrol pump in Arail area in the evening.On Friday, two clerks were robbed of Rs 10.90 lakh while they were on their way to deposit the money in a bank. The slaughterhouse was owned by Mohammed Amir and Shahid was supposed to withdraw the amount and give it to the former.An FIR has been lodged against unidentified persons and so far no arrests have been made in connection with the case.The inspector said that probe teams have been deployed to nab the miscreants.This is the third case of snatching and loot reported within 10 days from the city.
