FAIZABAD: Soon after her three-day sojourn of eastern Uttar Pradesh , AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is likely to hold road shows in Ayodhya , the epicentre of BJP’s temple plank. She will enter the holy town after Holi and also visit a temple and dargah, said a party office-bearer. However, the itinerary is yet to be finalized.While coming from Amethi, Priyanka will enter Faizabad from Sultanpur at Kumarganj of Milkipur tehsil of Faizabad district. At Kumarganj, which houses one of India’s largest agricultural university — Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology — Priyanka will address and meet people at about two dozen places in a 40-km stretch.“Priyanka ji will spend a night in Ayodhya and later visit a temple and a dargah here. She will also meet Hindu seers and Muslim clerics in Ayodhya and Faizabad and hold road shows in twin towns of Ayodhya and Faizabad,” UPCC secretary Rajendra Pratap Singh told TOI on Tuesday.“We are expecting that she will visit Ayodhya soon after Holi. The route chart for her road show and public meetings in Ayodhya is ready and we are hopeful of getting her final dates within a day or two,” he added.“We have sent her programme of road show, visit to religious places and meeting religious leaders to party headquarters,” he told TOI on Tuesday.
