ALLAHABAD: The agitation by the inmates of various hostels of Allahabad University and that of the trusts continuedon Wednesday. The agitated inmates took out a peace march to lodge their protest.All day through, a large number of protesters assembled at the union hall of AU and marked their protest against the concept of total washout of hostels. The protest continued despite the fact that the varsity administration has assured the inmates that only illegal inmates would be removed from the hostels.In the late evening, scores of inmates took out a peace march in the city. Starting from the union hall of AU, a large number of inmates took out the procession till Subhash crossing of the city to mark their protest.Meanwhile, the district administration has imposed Section 144 - in and around the campus of AU - which would continue till May 24. According to the notification of ADM City , not more than five persons would be allowed to stand together at any place, inside or in the immediate periphery of AU campus . Likewise, action would be taken against those indulging in inflammatory speeches or staging road blockade etc.
