Rains likely to hit Andhra by tomorrow

  AMARAVATI: In Andhra Pradesh , conditions for onset of monsoon are likely to be favourable over the next two to three days and is likely to hit the state only by June 18.

“At present, an upper air cyclonic circulation is marked over West central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh Coast at mid and upper tropospheric level. Further, we expect this weather system to intensify more,” read a weather report issued by Skymet, an independent weather forecasting agency.

“In the wake of all these weather systems, clouds will increase gradually and rain intensity will be spreading over to northern parts of Andhra Pradesh,” the weather report further stated. These weather activities will be accompanied by strong winds and are expected to continue for coming four to five days.
