Women hold march over Kathua rape case

Amritsar, April 20Demanding swift justice in the Kathua rape case and seeking women’s safety from the district administration, members of literary forums took out a march in the city on Friday. Led by activist Jagir Kaur, representatives of Nari Chetna Manch, Punjab Stree Sabha, Punjabi Sahit Sabha and Sanjhi Chaan, along with members of the District Library held a protest march, carrying posters demanding justice for the Kathua rape victim. The DC assured the representatives to consider their demands. The rallyists met DC Kamaljit Singh Sangha.
