The slow pace of investigation by the police has put victims in a quandary. Ajit Dhillon, one of the victim said, “Me and my wife gave passports to the travel agent for visa purpose. There is hardly any update on the stolen passports and we suspect foul play on the part of the agent.” According to information, the stolen passports had a valid US and Canadian Visas and there were no signs of forced entry into the travel agency. The investigation has revealed that the culprits entered the premises after opening the locks and even knew the password of the safe where passports were kept. Fearing that their passports could be misused, the victims have appealed the police to nab the suspects at the earliest. Police Commissioner SS Srivastava said, “The police have been working on different theories. With the kind of technical advancements nowadays, it is difficult to misuse stolen passports.” He said that the travel agency owner has no enmity with anyone. The case will be cracked soon.”
