Tribune News ServiceAmritsar, May 21The Ajnala police have booked Harkirat Singh, son of Congress councillor Davinder Singh, and Pavitar Singh in connection with a firing incident that took place in Ajnala on Sunday, leaving three persons injured. Besides Harkirat and Pavitar, complainant Gurdev Masih has also sustained injuries. Collision of bikes of Harkirat and Gurdev resulted in the clash. However, Harkirat and Pavitar also accused Gurdev of firing at them.

Amritsar, May 21 The Ajnala police have booked Harkirat Singh, son of Congress councillor Davinder Singh, and Pavitar Singh in connection with a firing incident that took place in Ajnala on Sunday, leaving three persons injured. Besides Harkirat and Pavitar, complainant Gurdev Masih has also sustained injuries. Collision of bikes of Harkirat and Gurdev resulted in the clash. Masih, a resident of Kotli Amb village, stated to the police that he along with his mother Paramjit Kaur was going to Ajnala on a bike while Harkirat and Pavitar Singh hit his bike that resulted in a scuffle. He alleged that Harkirat took out a pistol and fired at them. One of the bullets hit his leg. However, Harkirat and Pavitar also accused Gurdev of firing at them. A case under Sections 307, 506, 34 of the IPC and 25, 27, 54, 59 of the Arms Act has been registered against Harkirat and Pavitar on the statement of Gurdev Masih.
