Tribune News ServiceAmritsar, May 26Attendants of a patient at the cardiology ward of Government Medical College (GMC) accused a doctor of taking Rs 10,000 as bribe for treatment. The matter came to light after they filed a complaint with the medical superintendent. A patient, Kashmir Singh, of Inderpuri has been undergoing treatment at the GMC. Amar Singh along with some people created a scene in the ward and accused the doctor of demanding more money. Medical Superintendent Dr Surinder Pal said he had received the complaint.
