AMRITSAR: A team of Akal Purkh Ki Fauj (APKF) , Sikh NGO, reached Kerala with an aim of supporting the government school and its students to restart studies. "We are in Wayanad district and visited some schools with help of local residents who are helpful in identification of needy students and schools which had been affected due to flood waters We distributed school stationary and clothes to the students,” said the chief of APKF Jaswinder Singh Advocate while talking to TOI on Friday.He said during a visit to SALP School, Kotdhara, they were informed that most of the kids had also lost their belongings at homes and didn’t had even foot wares so APKF distributed shoes among the needy since there was a danger of snakebites too.He claimed that they were supporting more than 10 schools with different items.
