Woman sold as domestic help in Muscat returns

Talking to newspersons upon arrival in Amritsar, Parveen said that she was made to work from dawn to dusk at gunpoint by her employer and if she refused to do any particular work, she was tortured. He said when president of their trust S P S Oberoi came to know about Parveen, he paid an undisclosed amount to set her free, ending her nine months of captivity.Parveen's parents Joginder Singh and Simrajit Kaur, sister Kanwaljit Kaur and brother-in-law Harpal Singh had arrived at the airport to receive her.
