LUDHIANA: The Crime Investigating Agency (CIA) staff of the Ludhiana (Rural) police on Saturday arrested two drug smugglers and recovered 1.5kg opium from their possession.The accused were identified as Gurdeep Singh Sidhu and Harwinder Singh Bagga.SP (Investigation) Tarun Rattan said a team of CIA staff was carrying out checking when Gurdeep Singh was arrested from near T Point near village Kamalpura and 500g of opium was recovered from him while Harwinder Singh was arrested from near T Point near village Seeloani and one kilogram of opium was recovered from his possession.
