Kurukshetra University observes 64th foundation day

KURUKSHETRA: The Kurukshetra University (KU) has observed its 64th Foundation Day and Alumni Meet 2019 on January 11. "BTech, MTech results out in just nine daysOn Friday, the KU VC Prof Sharma released results of B. It shows that the oldest University of Haryana has great potential to be a world-class university in the future. Earlier, Haryana education minister Ram Bilas Sharma was scheduled to arrive for the celebration of the foundation day and also for the inauguration of the 1857 Free Struggle related museum at the university campus. Tech and M. Tech courses of the KU Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) and these results have been announced in just nine days.

KURUKSHETRA: The Kurukshetra University (KU) has observed its 64th Foundation Day and Alumni Meet 2019 on January 11. During the function, state minister Nayab Singh Saini was invited as the chief guest. Earlier, Haryana education minister Ram Bilas Sharma was scheduled to arrive for the celebration of the foundation day and also for the inauguration of the 1857 Free Struggle related museum at the university campus. The KU officials disclosed that as the minister Sharma is busy due to elections so he could not come to the event and the inauguration of the museum has been postponed to some other day.Minister Saini while addressing the gathering at the senate hall said, "KU is an institution of national pride as the national level agency of Ministry of human resources and development (MHRD) has given highest ranking of NAAC A+ Grade to the university. It shows that the oldest University of Haryana has great potential to be a world-class university in the future. This university had played important role in making of modern Haryana as it has produced eminent civil servants, engineers , doctors, journalists, and social workers. People across the world respect KU due to its credibility and successful students."KU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Kailash Chandra Sharma while congratulating the faculty and the staff members said, "KU is a pioneering institute of higher education in Haryana. MHRD allocated a grant of Rs 100 crore under Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) to this university. University has been planning to make six research and innovation centres related to different fields in future. We are committed to developing KU as fully digital and we have started the automation process in different departments."BTech, MTech results out in just nine daysOn Friday, the KU VC Prof Sharma released results of B. Director UIET Prof CC Tripathi informed that "It is the hard work of examination team of the department due to which our institute has been successful in declaring the results in such a short period of time. This has happened only in UIET throughout the state which is a proud moment."
