AMRITSAR: Bringing Priyanka Gandhi Vadra into active politics was a desperate attempt by the Congress to save its sinking ship, SAD president Sukhbir Badal said on Thursday. "By bringing in Priyank Gandhi, the Congress has officially declared that Rahul Gandhi is unfit to lead the party," Sukhbir claimed.He said it appeared as if Congressmen had lost faith in Rahul's leadership. "This is why Priyanka is being introduced. But it will not have any impact in the parliamentary elections," he claimed.While talking about Capt Amarinder Singh-led Congress government in Punjab, he alleged that the party had unleashed laws of jungle and was lodging false cases against SAD supporters.Meanwhile SAD (Taksali) president Ranjit Singh Bhrahampura has challenged former deputy CM Sukhbir Badal for a public debate.
