3 arrested for gang rape of 15-year-old in Phillaur

JHALANDHAR: Four men have been booked for the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl in a village near Phillaur on Monday night. Three of the accused, all aged between 18 and 19, have been arrested and the fourth accused, who is 33, is still on the run. The accused have been booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The survivor even fractured her leg trying to escape and was found in a very bad shape by some villagers who reached the spot.The survivor knew one of the accused and he informed the villagers, who then informed others, and found the girl.
