BATHINDA: A woman who is a co-accused in a rape case fled from police custody at Bathinda civil hospital on Wednesday afternoon. The couple was brought to Bathinda jail in January.Bathinda SSP Nanak Singh said efforts were on to arrest the undertrial. Amandeep and her husband, Vicky, are accused of rape and criminal conspiracy. She was brought to the hospital for a check-up. On coming out, the constable raised the when she could not find the accused.
